Anahí is Fighting with Jacqueline Bracamontes and Ana Brenda for Telenovela Role
Remember when the chisme was that Anahí was going to be starring in a telenovela with William Levy, you know the Tu O Nadie /Acapulco Cuerpo y Alma remake Sorlegio?
Well, guess what? Mezcalent is reporting that Ana Brenda Contreras and Jacqueline Bracamontes are also being considered. Ana Brenda hasn’t really been on anyone’s radar, so everyone is contending that Jacqueline Bracamontes is going to bump Anahí out of her telenovela-starring prospects.
And to add to things, the producers saw Anahí’s auditions for the role, and we’re told they’re not that impressive when compared to Ana Brenda’s. And we all know that Las Tontas No Van al Cielo in which Jacqueline is currently starring, is pulling ratings for Univision and Televisa.
Now we all know that most likely Anahí is going to win this battle. She may be a talentless little number, but she’s the youngest of all three women, and we all know her image is ultra sexy, and Televisa needs that to sell their little telenovelas.

Then you’re basically making William Levy carry the whole thing by himself. Not good. Ana Brenda is pretty and I’ve always loved Jacqueline Bracamontes. Funny how they always book the male lead then start the search for the woman lead.

She has very much become the stereotype of ditziness and it is hard to see her as a real person. If I were Anahi, and I were striving for better and important soap opera roles, I would surely change my attitude and try to prove that she has grown out of the little girl character of Rebelde and that she has the immaturity and intelligence to portray important and mature roles.

Anahi got attention because she was natural, she didn’t get the role because she looks too young and this role required an actress that looked more matured. But anahi has done it all when it comes to acting she’s done the good, the bad, the dumb, the psycho, the junkie, everything. And no she’s not trying to be like maite her novela was boring it was just another thalia soap. N besides william looks too old for her. Jackie n william would make a good couple. And i know she’d love to try something new. I think they should give her the shot because she’ll put all he determination to it. Comment made on October 13, 2009 at 10:07 pmI’m just glad that ugly skinny hoe anahi didn’t get the part…she would have ruined the whole novela and made william look real bad. i think that ana brenda should have got a shot at it just because she’s just starting out and unlike anahi she doesn’t look fake. i guess jackie is okay but she is looks way to skinny. jackie better not try to ruin william and his wifes marriage tho. his wife is soooooo much prettier than her.
