Carmen Salinas Comes to the Defense of Ramón Ayala
While a lot of famosos tried to distance themselves away from norteñoartist Ramón Ayala and his troubles with Mexican authorities after he was arrested during the raid on notorious drug cartel leader Arturo Beltran Leyva during a Christmas party, Carmen Salinas is doing the opposite.
The actress actually decided to stand up for the norteño singer. She says that the Mexican police need to distinguish between someone who took a misstep and an actual criminal.
Performing at a drug dealer’s party= misstep. Many people like Salinas think that this is another one of those examples of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
Poor Ramoncito. To be away from his family and his beloved accordion, in the meantime.
