Dulce María is very serious about carving a niche for herself in the music world. Certainly, she made a name as a member of RBD, but we all know that this chapter of her life is over.
Sources have confirmed that the album is going to be released before the end of the end of the year. Not only that, but that Dulce took it upon herself to write most of the songs on the album. Someone close to Dulce’s camp has informed us that most of the songs are lovesick ballads, as Dulce is a hopeless romantic.
While she and former bandmate Anahí were working head to head on their respective albums, somehow, Anahí’s album Mi Delirio, got released first. Some industry folks have speculated that this was done on purpose by Dulce’s camp!
Was Dulce hoping to learn from any of her former bandmate’s possible missteps, and use them to her advantage? Interesting.

El Diario de Yucatán quoted a source as saying that the Dulce María and Anahí who were so close as part of the teen band RBD are barely on speaking terms.
Why?
For the petty and obvious; a source who spoke to the Vida de Celebridad, said:
“Ellas competirán por el mismo público, RBD es parte del pasado y ellas saben que sí habrá una rivalidad.”
Word is one of them, not sure who, refused to be on the other’s upcoming solo album, and that sparked it all.
Now these ladies have been friends for too long to let fame and the hunger for more fame get in the way of their friendship. And we all know that fame doesn’t lasts long for no one.

Dons of reggaeton Wisin Y Yandel are going to make a stop on the telenovela Verano de Amor. As part of the plot line Mz. Dulce María who plays a lead character in the hit telenovela is going to be going to a concert of none other than the famous duo.
I hope that this little cameo won’t have Wisin Y Yandel think they’re thespians, anymore than I hope that Dulce María doesn’t think that just because she was in RBD, she has what it take to be a solo artist.
All said though, you just know that capitulo’s ratings is going to go up the roof when the combined hotness of the reaggaetoneros and Dulce María collide.
