Well, that’s good news. Especially since we know that a celebrity couple’s separation is sometimes just a prelude to an actual divorce.

Luis Fonsi spoke to Primera Hora and squashed any speculations that there was a third party involved with their decision to separate:

“La decisión se tomó entre los dos. En mi caso, la tomé por mi felicidad y tranquilidad. Y eso es lo que yo quiero para Ada también, que sea feliz.

“The decision was taken by the two of us. In my case, it was for my happiness and peace of mind. And that’s basically what I wanted for Ada as well, for her to be happy.”

And if you’re wondering if either of them has a side thing, during the separation, Luis wants to make it clear:

“Estamos separados, pero sigue siendo mi esposa.”

“Yeah, we’re separated, but she’s still my wife.”

Aww, how sweet. They need to give their relationship another try. What do you think?

After a heartwrenching breakup and separation between Luis Fonsi and Adamari Lopez, Luis Fonsi discussed the situation publicly for the first time during an interview with variety show “El Gordo y la Flaca”; he said:

Miento si digo que estoy bien, que estoy mejor que nunca.

I’d be lying through my teeth if I were to say I’m alright; that I’m better than ever.

Luis also expressed the fact that he was miffed over tabloid speculations as to why the golden couple had decide to separate:

He continued:

“No lo estoy y creo que la parte más difícil de todo esto es hacerla pública y que se inventen 47 cosas que son todas falsas”.

Breakups are always emotional; so we wish you and Adamari the best.

After months of denying that there was something wrong with their marriage, Luis Fonsi and Adamari Lopez have announced their plans to separate…which of course came as a shock for people who’ve always regarded them as one of the Parejas de oro in Latino showbiz.

This comes at a very triumphant time in Luis’s professional career; after all a few nights ago, he killed it at the Latin Grammy Awards.

Hopefully, though, this famous couple can iron out their differences, and this won’t be one of those Latin celebrity couples whose wedding end in divorce.

The beautiful and kittenish Puerto Rican actress Adamari Lopez  is coming back to TV with another Roberto Gomez Fernandez production the telenovela Alma de hierro (Iron Soul).

The actress played a bad girl in her last telenovela outing Bajo Las Riendas del Amor and looks forward to playing another vixen:

“My character’s name [in the new telenovela] is Rita. I’m going to play the role of the villain, so I’m really happy, always the villain. I love wreaking havoc on other people’s lives.”
