Many in the Latino community are almost always against telenovela remakes.
Sometimes, the writers and actors don’t seem to get it right the second time around!

Gabriela Spanic’s twin sister Daniela Spanic is in the hospital in Mexico. Ademar Naum her husband says he was worried because of a severe and persistent ear ache that Daniela has been suffering from, of late:
“Hace dos meses que trae eso, hemos visto a muchos doctores y no le quitan el ruido y como no la deja dormir preferimos venir para que le hagan estudio de todo”.
Whoa! That sounds pretty serious. Gabriela’s heart must be breaking! It is her twin after all.
When Daniela gave birth to her daughter Katalina two years ago, it was under a lot of difficulty. At one point, Daniela even suffered from cerebral hemorrage. But we know she is a trooper, and can survive this. Daniela will be in our thoughts.

Carmen Villalobos is soooo our chica. As Catalina Santana the vain teenager who gets a breast enlargement to conquer the world, you don’t know if you should hate her, but you’d rather love her.
We’re glad that Carmencita’s not in any Genesis Rodriguez-like escandalos, you know where you’re like underage niña and you get seduced by the leading man (cough, cough Mauricio Islas) in a hit telenovela (cough, cough Prisoniera, also starring Gabriela Spanic) that you both are starring in.
Carmen’s dad was acatually a cop in Columbia, so maybe that’s got something to do with it? Anyway, Carmen is Telemundo’s biggest star right now, and she’s aware of it, thank you very much, telling TV Y Novelas magazine:
