Los Tri-O are releasing Nuestra Historia, the group’s first album in nearly five years. Now that’s a band that has spunk. We’ve seen them through line-up changes, and all kinds of problems, and they still are trying to make a go for it!
And looks like David Bisbal’s latest album Sin Mirar Atrás has a different cover from the one we previously presented to you. Just a varying angle, but still different.

Olga Tañón actually has a new album coming up. It’s called 4/13, and we assure you that as soon as we uncover the mystery behind this album title, we will reveal it to you.

So Mariah Carey’s newest album has finally hit stores. And the album is getting a lot of growing reviews. The folks at the Washington Post said,
Mariah Carey is facing 40, but her mesmerizing falsetto still rivals the chirp of basketball sneakers on parquet. It’s as if her voice is somehow growing younger. It sounds higher. Lighter, too. And her fluttery brand of R&B seems to be following suit.
The Chicago Tribune, one of the most respected newspapers on this planet called the album the best collection of Mariah’s music since the 1990s, and that’s saying a great deal!
Go Me!Me! Er, I mean MiMi.

David Bisbal has released his latest opus Sin Mirar Atrás and another special edition with CD and DVD are going to be released next month through his label Universal Latino. CONTINUE READING

The Grammy winner is releasing her newest album on the WEA music label this month (Sept 22). So far, we’ve been told that it’s going to have exactly a dozen songs. “Esta Vida Tuya Y Mía”, “Cuando Tú No Estás”, and a song called “Mi Dueña”.
The album’s title is Boleto De Entrada, and is being released a little less than a year than her previous Cualquier Día and features a song “El Feo”, a duet with fellow Boricua Tego Calderón, that everyone is looking forward to.
If you need to see a prolific artist, look at Kany!

This is going to be the cover of Shakira’s soon-to-be released album She Wolf. I’m not liking it at all.
Oral Fixation’s cover was much better. The album is set to be released this month.
How do you like the cover?

Ex-Kumbia and ex-Kumbia All Starz member PeeWee wants to make a big statement, so of course he’s coming out with his first full-length solo album entitled simply Yo Soy.
Besides the title song for the telenovela Camaleones, there’s other little treasures like “La Reina De Las Mujeres”, “Ese Sueno”, “Rompecabezas”, and “Desesperado”. I bet A.B. Quintanilla is really, really, biting his nails now.

For all of those Pedro Fernández fans out there, I present to his stupendous collection of Latin ballads..all on one CD! Ladies, don’t faint please. La Historia de Los Exitos is for the ultimate fan, as well as for those who are not yet familiar with the artist’s music.
Some of you are probably wondering what is the difference between this album and La Historia… Mis Exitos, the other greatest hits album that he released two years ago, this one has 20 songs including “Mi Forma de Sentir”, “Yo No Fui”, “Amiga Por Favor”, plus this album’s cover is way better than the one that was on La Historia… Mis Exitos.

Frankie Negrón’s all-English album Independence Day is almost here! There you have it, the cover of one of the most anticipated album of the year! Be sure to pick it up on September 22nd!
August 20, 2009

Frankie Negrón is taking the next step into his lustrous musical career. Our adorable Boricua is going to be releasing his first-English language album Independence Day.
To Frankie, it’s all about change:
“As a singer, you shouldn’t be pigeonholed. You have to remember singing is an art, and if you’re in?uenced by certain music, and your passion comes from the heart, why not try something new? I will absolutely go back and do another salsa record, I haven’t left it behind; I just want to do more than one thing. Once people hear this album, there will be no doubt to my audience that this is just another facet of who I am.”
The disc due to hit the streets on September 22nd, so be sure to check out for it.
You can listen to “Holding On to Love” here.

I’d call Fey Mexico’s version of Lady GaGa, but let’s face it, Fey had the stardom game on lock long before Lady GaGa came on the scene. Dulce Tentación her follow-up to 2006’s Faltan Lunas is our introduction to a much risk-taking Fey.
Even the photo on the album cover is edgy. It makes you really wonder if the woman on it is the same little angelic-faced who made bouncy albums like El Color de los Suenos and La Fuerza del Destino. I’m not sure how I feel about this androgenous look, so let’s discuss the music, please.
Since the first edition of the album was released by Mi Rey Music in the Spring of this year, a lot of you are already familiar with “Lentamente”, her eponymous dance hit. The album has sparked a hit out of “Cicatrices as well.
Connect with Fey on MySpace and on her fan community site.
Connect with the band via their MySpace page. They’re also on Facebook and on Twitter.

And we mustn’t forget about Luis Enrique album Ciclos. About two months and some days on the market, the album has been getting a lot of critical and fan attention, and it’s not just because it’s a two-disc set.
“Cómo Volver a Ser Feliz” shows off his vulnerable side while “Sombras Nada Más” showcases his vocal prowess.
I’ve only just recently started to discover this Nicaraguan salsero, and to really get the essence of what his musical style does for salsa is to give a full listen to past albums like Amor Y Alegria and everybody’s favorites Luces Del Alma and Los Principes de la Salsa.

The duo spoke to El Mañana about their newest opus Electricidad, and the song “Adios”, which is really catching some major buzz.
It turns out that their tour has really lend them a new perspective on the song, and their overall tone of their new material. Jesse told the Mexican newspaper:
You know they’re you’re favorite brother and sister duo! Admit it.
Be sure to check them out on MySpace and show them some love, and visit their website.
