Dania Ramirez is set to make a big splash on the screen, the big screen this time, in a movie called Premium Rush , in which she plays a bike messenger who somehow gets embroiled with a corrupted police officer.
We’re told that Dania went all the way for the role in the action movie. The photos you see here were taken on the set of the movie, being filmed in New York City.
She actually got this tattoo for the part in the movie.
She looks so fit! Go, Dania!

America Ferrera’s new movie The Dry Land premiered in Los Angeles at the Pacific Design Center. So of course, she was there!
The movie also stars Wilmer Valderrama, and we hear that Wilmer will suprise more than one with his performance as Raymond Gonzales.
Doesn’t he look dandy in his suit. What’s up, guapo?
Oh, how nice that America’s “Ugly Betty” co-star Vanessa L. Williams came to show her support for her ex-coworker!
Group photo. Yeah!
Oh, and America again.

If you’re looking to see Alejandro Chabán on Telemundo, you had better think again.
Alejandro changed networks. He and his management team negotiated what we have learned is an extremely, extremely lucrative actor’s contract with Univision!
Univision steals ratings from Telemundo (well, not really, but you know what we mean!), and now it’s going after its talent roster…big time! Gabriela Spanic defected to Univision, and now Alejandro too!
And it’s such a shame. Alejandro Chabán practically grew up on Telemundo. Remember him as little adorable Tomas in La ley del silencio, ladies? And after he proved his worth to the network and his talent in El rostro de Analía making you want to pass out as your eyes feasted on his fine, God-sculptured body?
Why, oh, why did Telemundo allow him to leave? Don Browne and the rest of the brass at Telemundo should have emptied the Telemundo coffers to prevent him from leaving if it was a money issue. But we’re sure it wasn’t a money issue. (Was it a matter of pride on Telemundo’s part, and the fear of not wanting to give talent too much power for giving in to money demands?)
Telemundo is loaded anyway (those little isolated layoffs mean nothing). It’s not like they would have missed any of the money. They have been posting profits not losses, and 2009-2010 has proven to be good to the network, earning them the best ratings in their history (thanks to the combined ratings power of Doña Bárbara, Sin Senos no hay Paraíso, and of course the Alejandro Chabán-starring El Rostro de Analía).
Now a talent that Telemundo breastfed, weaned and nurtured is going to be helping Univision— Telemundo’s nemesis—in making more money and getting higher ratings!
But Alejandro should also have tried to stay loyal to the network that helped make him a big star, but when you look at it, he’s got his youthful looks going for him, and why not take advantage of it, while he can. Life is short.
And let’s face it Telemundo was slow too. They should have grabbed Alejandro and Carmen Villalobos immediately after the respective success of El Rostro de Analía) and Sin Senos no hay Paraíso and thrown them in a telenovela together (can you imagine how big of a hit any telenovela with those two would have been?). But no! Telemundo had to be a slow poke, and now look! Lost opportunity.
But at the same time, is Alejandro an ingrate? After all, he was a pimple-faced little kid who Telemundo helped groomed into a leading man. And now Univision is going to be the one enjoying the fruits of Telemundo’s labor.
So Alejandro got offered more money and jumped ship! Oh, how terrible! But, wait. We’d probably do the same thing too, though! Hey, it’s a recession, and money must be gotten wherever!
So, Alejandro make that money. Just make sure Univision doesn’t throw you in one of their flops!
