February 2, 2010Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez Friendship Over
Apparently, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez are no longer the best of friends.
Knowing how close she and Selena reportedly are, Demi was asked by one fan in London how Selena was doing these days, and Demi said, “Ask Taylor Swift”—which is no doubt a pointed reference to how close Selena Gomez has become with Taylor Swift—at the expense of her friendship with Demi.
During that same interview, Demi also said:
“There are times when even if you’ve known someone for a long time, you change. Just because we were best friends doesn’t mean we’re always going to stay best friends.”

October 17, 2009UNICEF Ambassador Selena Gomez to Host Charity Auction
Mexican princess and celebrity do-gooder Selena Gomez is not part of the wild teen star party circuit.
She’s got better things to do with her time, thank you very much. When she’s not celebrating with cows, or working, or singing, she’s fulfilling her duties as one of UNICEF’s youngest ambassadors.
She along with a bunch of other celebrities, have donated their stuff to be auctioned off to raise money for UNICEF’s programs as part as the Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF Continues to Save Children’s Lives Worldwide fundraising event.
The auction starts October 21st and ends November 11th.
Don’t you love a do-gooder?

All we can say is, it’s about time Selenita had her own clothing line. How did she ever get overlooked for an opportunity like this, up until now is beyond us. This girl is a born fashionista, is she not?
The line is going to be called Dreaming Out Loud, and will be mostly sportwear for young girls, and it’s going to actually be made with environmentally-friendly material.
Selena thinks of it all. She told Extra TV:
“With my line, I really want to give the customer options on how they can put their own looks together,” Selena continued. “I want the pieces that can be easy to dress up or down, and the fabrics being eco-friendly and organic are super important. Also, the tags will all have some of my inspirational quotes on them. I’m just looking to send a good message.”
Go Selena! We saw your mogul potential a long time ago.
