We’ve told you about how Latino celebrities are mobilizing to lend their support to Haiti’s earthquake victims.
Now we have the final lists of the participants for Don Francisco’s Sabado Gigante 4-hour special on the Univision TV network that’s going to air this Saturday night.
Well besides Thalia and Gloria Estefan, we’ve learned that the following Latino celebs are going to take part in the ‘Unidos por Haití’ telethon.

As the country of Haiti is suffering from its second earthquake in a week, many Latino artists are coming together to lend a hand to the relief.
If you were wondering who’s doing what, when, here is a small breakdown.
Just today, Maxwell, who’s partly Puerto Rican, for those of you who didn’t know, performed his song “Fistful of Tears” on the Oprah Winfrey show. The song is also dowloadable on iTunes and proceeds from the downloads will go to the relief effort.
Wisin Y Yandel gave a press conference inside Puerto Rico Sheraton Hotel, divulging that they have donated $300,000 to go towards rebuilding Haiti, in collaboration with business man Enrique González Domínguez. At stake here is the St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Port-au-Price that was destroyed during the quake.
Next week, the duo is going to be traveling to the island nation to lend a hand and to help. Who knew these two had a sensitive side? And you thought they were just eye candy!
Cristián de la Fuente spoke to Peopleenespanol.com, about the compassion he felt for the people of Haiti, and what the earthquake’s aftermath taught him:
“Es una señal de humildad darnos cuenta que somos tan pequeños, que nuestra vida es tan frágil que en un minuto todo nos puede cambiar y que no sacamos nada con tener dinero en el banco, un gran puesto en el trabajo o ser una persona poderosa si la naturaleza en un minuto nos lo puede quitar todo”.

The couple were in the sunshine city to look over the progress of the building of Shakira’s mansion.

The 2009 American Music Awards did not consist of just fashion moments on the red carpet, but some, er, unforgettable moments on stage too, in terms of performances. Shall we start with Shaki?
Shaki and a bunch of muscled female dancers in dominatrix outfits, came on the stage like savages that had been locked up for a considerable time and needed to dance their little corsets off as a prerequisite for their freedom.
Shaki and the rest of the all-black-clad gang, shook what their mamis gave them. Her hair looked blonder than usual.
And then there was the matter with that single braid.
After bumping and grinding, Shaki innocently smiled to the audience, leading us to think that she is the essence of a little naughty and a little nice.
Shaki is such an electrifying performer.
And then there was J.Lo. Yeni’s performance was apparently modeled after scenes of the classic movie Rocky.
Wow, look at that body! Looks like Yeni still got that special touch.
She is woman…hear her roar.
Look at her belting out her song Louboutins.
