Cuban Actor William Levy Loves Mexico; the Feeling is Mutual
William Levy is so happy with the way Mexico fell in love with him, that he wants to bring his grandmother there to be with him. He confided to Mezcalent about this, and about how much he’s in love with Mexico:
“Apenas tengo dos años en México pero la gente me ha recibido con un cariño que yo no me la podía creer. Nunca esperé protagonizar telenovelas tan rápido estoy en un país que me ha brindado grandes oportunidades.
“Si nunca hubiera salido de Cuba no habría podido realizar mis sueños y ahora gracias al apoyo de los productores y el público los estoy haciendo realidad”.
I’ve barely landed in Mexico for a good two years, and the folks here have welcomed me with open arms. Unbelievable. I never thought I’d be the a leading man in telenovelas that fast. I’m in a country where I’m flooded with some really great opportunities.
If I hadn’t gotten out of Cuba, I wouldn’t have been able to fulfill my dreams and today with the support of the producers and the fans, I’ve made them a reality.
We’re glad too, papi chulo. How would we have lived without you and those labios.
