Dania Ramírez is the Latest Latina to Become the Face of Cover Girl
“Heroes” star and actress Dania Ramirez, is doing great things these days.
Prestigious cosmetics line CoverGirl has hand-picked her to be the newest addition to their list of celebrities representing the beauty company.
Dania doesn’t see this new gig as an opportunity to fatten up her bank accounts, but sees the “bigger picture”, letting out this statement:
“Being a COVERGIRL is about recognizing internal and external beauty,
regardless of age or background. As a role model, I hope to inspire womento be confident enough to achieve everything they want to achieve.”
That’s not all. The actress hopes that people will see her as proof that no matter what your origins are, you can achieve anything through diligence. The Dominican-born beauty told People magazine:
“I’m bringing my story, a story of struggle and hard work. Not speaking the language [when I got to America] and trying to figure out my definition of beauty, you learn to recognize the beauty in all of us. It takes a strong person to get where I’ve got. “If I could walk around telling people how great it is, I would.”
Certainly Dominicans and other Latinos can look to her as an inspiration! Are you as proud of Dania as we are?
Go Dania Ramirez! We always knew you would continue to conquer the entertainment world.

Ellen DeGeneres not included…Ellen represents inside and out…..Tatooing guns on your body is not great role model stuff… while Rihanna was a supposed “victim” We all know she will be back with Chris Brown before the year is over….Beautiful on the outside……not a role model otherwise..Queen latifah….beautiful complexion…again representing the “gangsta” side of life
