Oh, mira! It’s none other than the love of Bonescito’s life arriving at the Los Angeles Airport from her Tokyo, Japan trip. Wait, that’s all the luggage Yeni brought with her? CONTINUE READING

Generations come, generations go, but their passions always stay the same. That’s pretty much the theme of Mayra Montero’s engaging book Captain of the Sleepers.
The book, which recounts the ups and downs of growing up in Puerto Rico in the 1950s is told in flashback style and is meticulously translated by Edith Grossman, who I must say did a great job in capturing the essence of the original book.
The hero of the story Andrés Yasín reminisces endlessly about the island of Vieques while J.T. Bunker, another narrator (who takes over from time to time). Bunker and Yasín’s mother had a Mrs. Jones thing going on at one point, so it’s interesting to see how not only things differ from their varying point of views, but also it’s interesting to watch their relationship develop over the course of 192 pages.

Rihanna seems to be developing a penchant for hanging out with Latino men lately. First there was some talk about her and rehabbed (questionable) whore Wilmer Valderrama. And more recently, there’s been some tongue wagging about her and “The Hills” star Frankie Delgado. They were spotted on the Hollywood night club circuit, hitting Nobu and Les Deux.

Hopefully, Rihanna hasn’t fallen too deep, because according to the NY Post: Frankie is just hanky-pankying with the singer, to get his name out there:
“Frankie is total bull[bleep] and is now using her to try and get press on himself. He got her to come to Le Deux and then sold her out so he could see his name in print. He even told people she was dancing on tables — which is wrong.”
Well, dang, playa. That is waaay cold. Especially at a time like this, when you know the girl is vulnerable. That’s canalla-level.

Eva Mendes may have been named a global pleasure, but it was not pleasing at all for the actress and the rest of the crew of the movie Queen of the South to film in global pleasure spot Mexico. According to the Independent UK, the film’s crew members and receiving threats from the drug underworld and its director Jonathan Jakubowicz felt that the best thing to do was to clear out:
“I’ve worked really hard to make this beautiful movie, but the safety of my family and my team comes first,” Jakubowicz told Variety. “Making this movie [would have] put us all at risk, not only in Mexico but in the US.”
What makes this really bad is that this isn’t the first time the Mexican economy has lost a chance to have some Hollywood money thrown at it. When Jennifer Lopez and Antonio Banderas were filming Bordertown back in ‘05, they were ran out of town by threats.
Mexico missed out on the chance for some hefty Hollywood paper. Not good.
The director hasn’t said whether he’ll try to recreate the Sinaloa locations elsewhere…perhaps in Brazil or something, or even on the southern coast of Mexico. Guess with all the violence that’s going on, it’s a wait-and-see situation.

People have been wagging their tongues, saying that Ninel Conde and her husband Juan Zepeda are about to call it quits, but Ninel wants you to know that it ain’t so. In an interview with “El Gordo Y La Flaca”, El Bombón Asesino simply said,
“Nos divorcian cada dos meses.”
“They [talking about gossips] have us divorcing every other month.”
Well, there. Haters.
Guess it’s kinda understandable why anyone would think that their marriage is doomed.
But hang in there Bombón Asesino.

We’re extremely sad with the death of my brother. It’s something that you just can never get used to. Unfortunately he had cancer and it was in a really advanced stage. Some people can live with something like that. Others can’t.
Of course, we continue to show support to the family and to Sherlyn as well in this continuously difficult time. Édgar Oliver González is going to be missed to the end of times.

Gisele Bundchen graces the latest Vanity Fair.
Inside the magazine, the Brazilian bombshell sounds off on her relationship with Tom Brady:
“My idea of that is you have a partner who’s got your back. When I’m weak, you can be strong; when I’m strong, you can be weak. That’s what I believe marriage is. Loving someone, you want to grow with them, share with them, share the same values, the same feelings about things, the same beliefs.”
For ya’ll papacitos out there who are wishing that there just might be a chance that the two might get a divorce, well, line up your alternative girls, because Gisele has high hopes for her marriage thank you very much. She tells told the revista: CONTINUE READING

Folks in Colombia are calling Arcebio Alvarez ,59, the monster from Mariquita, but he’s got the perfect excuse for impregnating his daughter 14 times over the years:
“We agreed to have a romantic relationship because we really loved each other. But she was not my own child,” he told the court in the central Tolima province.”
So, you supposedly adopted her when she was five, but uh, isn’t adoption the word from the word adopting, which means you took her and treated her as your own daughter?
Disgusting. Purely disgusting.
The daughter who’s hitting the 30s, has her own take on things:
I always respected him as my father and he is my father,” she said.
“He never spoke about [incest], about why we were doing it. Sometimes I would ask him and he would say it was God’s will.”
The authorities in Colombia have taken the woman and her poor kids under the wings in the meantime, while he’s facing Colombian courts.
