Demi Lovato Has Daddy Issues
Demi Lovato wrote the song “For the Love of the Daughter” to express her thoughts about her relationship with her dad, Patrick Lovato for her upcoming sophomore album.
“We are not, and yes it is,” she answered when asked if they were on speaking terms, or if the relationship was difficult. “That’s life,” she said.
It’s to her credit though that she’s turned out to be quite balanced and despite not having her biological father actively in her life.
Go D.Lo! And be sure to remember when biological doesn’t bother [Shaq O'Neal], there’s always going to be someone to help you fill the void.

Secondly, I don’t think this is anyone’s business whether or not she’s on speaking terms with her dad or not. That’s personal to her. Especially since we don’t know if that’s a really touchy subject for her or not.
Sorry for sounding so preachy, but that’s how I feel about it. I do agree though with Blue because she did turn out great. Hopefully she’s as happy as she always appears to be. It seems like everyone’s parents are divorced now, and it’s so sad.

When you are upset, or have something on ure mind, you would usually write it down. In Demi’s case, she wrote a song on it, and I am proud of her for sharing something like that publicly. Bravo Demi!

Comment made on December 17, 2009 at 4:31 pmHave you realised Step-fathers are better then biological fathers… thats just my opinion… but they are they treat you with more respect.. they want to get along with you.. my dad left on my 6th birthday and all saughts has gone on i dnt speak to him now, but it can scar people mentally which it has done to me and people learn to hide the pain, i think she takes her pain out in her music if you listen to her lyrics.. she is a very brave girl.
And thats why she is suck an awesome role model
