El Rostro de Analía is Getting Hot and Elizabeth Gutiérrez Even Hotter
And you thought that after Sin Senos No Hay Paraiso, Telemundo wouldn’t be able to top itself. El Rostro de Analía has had my attention on and off for the past months, but hey the other night Analía Moncada started to have flashbacks about her past and is beginning to realize that she’s not Analía Moncada at all but rather the presumed dead Mariana Montiel.
Dang, it’s getting juicy.
And for those of you tontas out there who are missing this great show, let me break El Rostro de Analía down for you.
Mariana Montiel, a business executive finds out that her weasel, whorish husband Daniel is cheating on her with her own skansky cousin Sara. She goes out for a drive to clear her head, and is held at gunpoint by Analía Moncada (who’s been sent by mobster Ricky Montana to do a hit on her). But what Ricky doesn’t know is that Analía is an undecover cop who’s infiltrated in his organization so that the popo can nail him.
Anyways, a gun at her head, Mariana struggles with Analía, and the car ends up falling off a cliff. Analía dies, but Mariana survives somewhat. Two scientists driving by rescue Mariana, and take her to their lab, but she’s so hopelessly disfigured.
They find the contents of Analía’s purse among the debris and using a business card, reconstruct her face using technology that’s not yet known (I know, I know far-fetched, but interesting, no? And this is a telenovela), but it’s Analía’s face and body on Mariana Montiel’s!
Once El Rostro de Analía is over; I wonder what Telemundo will do with Liz. You know that would be something if they paired Carmen Villalobos, their new star and William Levy in a love triangle telenovela. That would break all telenovela records and give Telemundo that much-needed edge over Univision. Don’t hate me Univision, I still love you, but you’ve hoaged the ratings long enough.

Es mucho mejor que las novelas de univision… This novela its like an action movie, its always unexpected and u never know what’s gonna happen! Its not la typica rich boy and poor girl who cant be together because of their social status its more than that!
