Eva Mendes Born to Play Maria Callas
Maria Callas, the tempestuous Greek opera singer who was a lover to multizillionaire Aristotle Onassis, will have her life brought to the screen and Julian Fellowes wants no one else other than the lovely and fatbacked Cubanita Eva Mendes to play the role in Greek Fire, the star’s biopic.
He’s convinced that Eva is the mujer perfecta for the role, telling The Telegraph:
“I’m sure she would do a fantastic job,” he says. “The key to Callas is her forceful personality. She was astonishingly charismatic.”
Eva and her talent as an actress is obviously pretty admired. At one point Gloria Trevi wanted (and probably still wants) Eva to play her in a movie.
Eva’s career can only go in one direction and that’s success! Her good work speaks for her! Maybe this is the role she’s been waiting for to get that Oscar to look at!
