Jacqueline Bracamontes and William Levy in Sortilegio
As you all William Levites know, Sortilegio is going to be his next novela, and co-starring Jacqueline Bracamontes as his leading lady in the role of María José Samaniego Miranda.
Here is Mz. Jackie discussing her role:
¿Cómo es tu personaje?
“Se llama María José Samaniego. Es una chava de nivel socioeconómico bajo, que su máximo sueño es sacar adelante a su familia. Tiene una hermana y a su papá. y decidió salirse de estudiar para poder trabajar y mantener a los suyos, aunque también sueña como cualquier mujer y desea tener un galán, formar una familia. Entonces aparece un príncipe azul, que es el villano de la historia, se casan y ahí arranca este Sortilegio, porque gracias a esa villanía María José conoce al amor de su vida que es Alejandro (William Levy)”.¿Cuál es el reto de este papel con respecto a los que has hecho?
“Es un papel muy difícil. Es una novela muy bien escrita por María Saratini. Me toca llorar como nunca, más que las anteriores telenovelas, porque María José siente mucha impotencia porque está amenazada y tiene que vivir una mentira, hacer como que está casada y por ello es que llega como intrusa a una familia de millonarios, siendo una mujer pobre. Vive un infierno, pero gracias a eso conoce a un gran amor”.
Like we care about character motivation, and all that stuff. We just want to have an excuse to see William Levy with someone, all the better to help us with the visualization of live vicariously as his mujer.

Ich bin einfach hin und weg gewesen. Sortilegio war die beste Telenovela die je gesehen hab. Mate ist gegen Jacky ein kleines unscheinbares Mädchen, sie passt nicht zu William.

She cannot be sweet even when she smiles or cries. Her figure is awfully artificially thin (she has to keep her figure that way because of her broad hips). She leaves the impression of an auntie. And, she is so ANTI-SEXY, therefore, so unconvincing for Maria-Jose role (No Alejandro on the planet Earth would ever fall in love with such an anti-sexy and auntie-like face)! Poor William! To kiss such a face! They should have given that role to Liza Gutierrez. She is sweet, sexy and a good actress and William & Liz would’ve been more convincing as a screen couple.(I hope William is coming to his senses in his private life, too, because Liza is worth caring and adoring, and none of the woman he has allegedly been with cannot even compare with her, either in looks or in her attitude & personality).

The love these characters had for each other (ALEX/MARIA JOSE)ohhhhhh my GOD!!! I had never seen a couple with this kind of chimestry, no wonder they were named the couple of the YEAR.
