Juanes Gets National Peace Prize
Colombian rockero Juanes is getting honored left and right. His newest accolade? The National Peace Prize that tThe United Nations Development Programme, in collaboration with Colombian media, give out every year to someone who’s promoting peace, a description that no doubts describes Juanes.
Earlier this year, Juanes ignored naysayers and gave a concert in Havana, a bold move which many admired, and others frowned upon.
Congratulations, Juanes! The honors just keep on coming. Around this time last year, he was being honored by Cambio magazine, and now this!
