Latina Model Turned Singer Ticks the Religious With Billboard Mag Cover
Chronic boob flasher Mayra Verónica has got several religious groups upset!
Oh, no! This is certainly front page news for a woman who has made a career out of shaking her (enhanced?) tailfeather!
The busty model is trying to launch a singing career, and has released her single “If You Wanna Fly”. Her album is called Saint Nor Sinner off the Universal Music/Ingrooves label. But what has gotten her into a lot of hot water is her sensually holding on to a snake on the cover of Billboard magazine—while surrounded by wings—presumably that of angels.
When you’re born with a religious name like Mayra Verónica, and the majority of people looking at your naked posters are pious worshippers of the Holy Virgin, you don’t just pose with snakes at your whim.
By the way, Mayra Verónica has decided to change her name to just plain Verónica to signify the birth of a new image. Plus she figures that gringos can barely mouth two first names.
Says the newly crowned Verónica:
“The snake is symbolic for ’sinner.’ The title to my new album is ”Saint nor Sinner’ — therefore the depiction of both symbols. If they cannot see beyond the symbolism and wish to see it as sacrilege, then they have bigger problems to tend to.”
No word on whether Verónica is going to be trashier than Mayra Verónica.
