Latino Music News: Rosario*Mónica Naranjo*Los Fabulosos Cadillacs

I think that even after her Grammy nominations some people still haven’t bothered to pick up Rosario’s album, which is really a pity considering she’s one of those artists out there who’s keeping it real lyricalwise and image wise. You never see ugly headlines about this artista.
With hopelessly poetic songs like “Ojalá Que Llueva Café”, and “Como Me Las Maravillaría Yo”, her album is definitely worth a listen, even for those who may not comprehend Spanish beyond ‘hola, ‘casa’ and ‘mami’.
Mónica Naranjo’s previous albums Chicas Malas, Palabra de Mujer, are being followed up by Tarantula, a 11-song collection that includes “Kambalaya” and “Eva”. To me, her cover art is so eye-catching. So The Little Mermaid-ish.
Speaking of CD covers, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs has one that will have you starring. It’s dropping in February.
Do what you can to support these Latino artists.
