Mañana es Para Siempre for Lucero
Where’s Lucero? There’s Lucero. Your favorite triple threat currently stars in Mañana es Para Siempre, a telenovela coming to a television screen near you.
It’ll be the Mexican remake of the hit Columbian telenovela Pura Sangre. And while a lot of folks are always talking basura about Mexican remakes of Columbian telenovelas, I for one, am kinda looking forward to it. Lucero will actually play a villain this time after playing those swept off their feet virgens for the longest time! Oh, yeah, chica, show us what you got.
Your boy Fernando Colunga, fresh from his triumph as Ricardo en La Pasion will co-star along with Erika Buenfil (Marisol, Tres Mujeres), Ana Martin (remember her? She’s the one who played Barbara Mori’s mother in Rubi, and Sergio Sendel (La Otra, Amarte Es Mi Pecado), Silvia Navarro (Catalina and Sebastian, Cuanda Seas Mia), and my girl Natalia Esperon, who I miss so very much from Rencor Apasionado.
We’ll see how that goes…if this remake is going to be a Mexican Fuego en La Sangre to the Columbian Pasion de Gavilanes, or if it will actually hold up.
