Miss Dominican Republic Ada Aimée de la Cruz Wants Miss Universe Pageant Rules Changed,
Ada Aimée de la Cruz, Miss Dominican Republic was among the first contestants to show her support for Miss Venezuela Stefanía Fernández when that little Miss, was attacked from left and right about her legitimacy of her winning the crown as the 2009 Miss Universe.
That doesn’t mean, though that she thinks the pageant is perfect.
“Creo que deberían tomarse en cuenta todos los puntajes o sino para que nos ponen a modelar en traje de baño y traje de noche. Me gustaría que cambiaran ese método de calificación, porque creo que todo debería ser tomado en cuenta con la misma importancia, pues no me parece justo que en una sola pregunta se decida todo cuando las muchachas han mostrado su belleza y carisma en todo el concurso.”
Ah, don’t you just love a runner-up who talks with grace. Hope Donald Trump is taking some notes for next year’s pageant. That is some good feedback after all.

Comment made on September 11, 2009 at 10:29 pmMiss Dominican was my favorite in this years Miss Universe Pageant. I run a free website that teaches women how to successfully compete in pageantry so naturally I have to keep up. But, I wanted Ada Aimee De la Cruz to win so much. I really thought that she had the International look that the pageant needed and I loved her answers. She really looked like a Barbie.
