One Time Undercover Latina Turns to Music
In the 1980s, Linda Jean Córdova Carter flew everywhere, putting out fires as the adventurous “Wonder Woman”! Of course, she’s gotten a lot of flack for not representing Latinness, but oh, well. But who knew she could sing? But yes, she actually does, and has a CD out called Lynda Carter At Last.
Wonder what she thinks of what others think of her, and her Latino undercoverdom. But maybe if she was asked she’d probably give a really nonchalant answer, like the one below:
“I’m really kind of a corny person,” she says. “I think I am so funny. I do — I crack myself up. I consistently, at least according to my children, make a fool of myself. I am a completely flawed person. It is what it is. I’m happy with it.”
Sounds like a woman who’s really at peace with herself after all those personal dramas. Just do your thing, mami.
