Paola Rey Returns in Montecristo: Entre el amor y la traición
No word on whether Univision or Telemundo will pick this up stateside, but there it is: Caracol’s version of Alexandre Dumas’s novel The Count of Monte Cristo. entitled Montecristo: Entre el amor y la traición.
It stars your girl Paola Rey. Wish they would have teamed her up with Juan Alphonso Batista again. They’re absolutely adorable together.
But rather, she’s paired up with Juan Carlos Vargas and
German Quintero, and from what I’ve heard, they do just fine.

You got to hand it to telenovela producers. No matter how nicely a telenovela is made, they also believe in doing a remake!
