Paulina Rubio’s New Album Gets a Name
Paulina Rubio is definitely not slowing down. Besides that Oro perfume she’s peddling to us, she wants to take us back to the one thing she’s known for: her music. Pau is slapping us with another album, according to El Diego’s blog.
She’s calling it Pausión. What creative punning on her name, no? Word is, Pau has written a lot of the songs, in addition to collabos with Latino music heavyweights like Coti, Estéfano, Fernando Montesinos, Gian Marco, and super hit men Lester Méndez and Chris Rodríguez, and Cachorro López who just co-helmed Alex Ubago’s Calle Illusión album.
She’ll actually have Julieta Venegas, Miranda, Belanova on the disc too, but wouldn’t it be something something if she would feature a duet with her one-time Timbiriche band member Thalia?
Can you imagine the types of headlines that teaming of these enemigas would bring? The Mexican, heck the Latino media, would go into a frenzy Thalia and La Chica Dorada!
