Ricky Martin’s Plans to Help Rebuild Haití and Chile
Ricky Martin’s Fundación Ricky Martin (Ricky Martin’s Foundation) is joining forces with Habitat in Humanity to help reconstructing the two countries, recently affected by devastating earthquakes.
Lots of other artists have heeded Ricky’s call for reconstruction, and they include fellow Latino celebrity do-gooders like Gustavo Cerati, Carlos Santana, Alejandro Sanz, Nelly Furtado, Rubén Blades, Eva Longoria, Enrique Iglesias, Juanes, Juan Luis Guerra, Calle 13, Sofía Vergara, Mr. 305 himself Pitbull, Allison Iraheta, Miguel Bosé, (whose album Cardio is released this year), Luis Fonsi, bachata kings Aventura, Cuban diva Gloria Estefan, Ednita Nazario, Chayanne, Julieta Venegas, Cristian de la Fuente, Angélica Castro, Tego Calderón, Olga Tañón, Wisin y Yandel, Jowell y Randy, Paulina Rubio (What’s up Pau?) and Amaury Nolasco.
If you’d like to help Ricky (and you know you want to!) with these worthwhile causes, please visit this link.
You can also text RMFHAITI and RMFCHILE” to 25383 to make a donation of $10 to further Ricky’s efforts. Be sure to view the video of Ricky’s call to help those two Latin American countries, with a little help from his celebrity friends

Comment made on March 13, 2010 at 12:53 pmhow about all these celebrities donate 5000 dollars and that would be more than all the regular people who may donate. I wouldn’t donate to habitat for humanity because most of the homes built by them in the U S end up in forclosure or in a short sale. because the people can’t afford them.
