Salma Hayek Denies Being a Jumpoff
Oh, Salma, Salma. So beautiful, and not so innocent!
According to Batman and Wild Wild West movie producer Jon Peters, he and the beautiful Colombian/Mexican actress had a little fling some years back.
Peters is writing Studio Head, a tell-all biography and names Salma as one of his past paramours, a statement that Salma denies through an Entertainment Weekly interview saying:
“After several weeks of continued press coverage of Jon Peters’ upcoming book, I want to make something very clear,” Hayek says. “I have never dated nor had a romantic relationship with Mr. Peters. My name has been continually linked to his romantic liaisons, and I want to put a stop to this lie.”
I don’t know Salma. What if he has photos to show?
But, um, update, Salma obviously has nothing to worry about. After being presented with a hefty $700,000 advance from HarperCollins, Peters is actually pulling the plug on his juicy memoir. He told Vanity Fair:
“I have been besieged by potential lawsuits and threatened litigation by some of the most important figures in the world of show business. What’s worse,” Peters wrote, seemingly with a straight face, “I consider all of these people my friends.”
Gee, I wonder if Salma Hayek’s husband, you know Zillionaire Francois-Henri Perault was among those “important figures”.
Hmm.
