Shakira Honored By the United Nations
Yesterday, as part of the United Nations’ World Day of Social Justice celebration, Shakira was honored in Geneva, Switzerland for her humanitarian work with her foundation.
Shaki’s was lauded for her work with her Pies Descalzos, a foundation she started, that builds schools for underprivileged children in Colombia. Recently though, Shaki has stretched the mission of the school, and plans to build a school in earthquake-ravaged Haiti.
Now, that Shaki, that’s one Latina who’s beautiful inside and on the outside too! Wouldn’t you agree?
