Dominican rapper Fabolous turned 31 and his Puerto Rican-Ecuadoran comrade Adrienne Bailon was among the many celebrities who came out to help him celebrate his cumpleaños.

Hot 97 DJ Angie Martinez was there too. I’ve seen her look better than this. Perhaps the photographer got her on a bad angle.

Adrienne Bailon was among the guests at Ne-Yo’s 30th cumpleanos. Are we to believe that Ryan Leslie is Adrienne’s new main squeeze? They do look cute together, so that’ll be good news. Ryan reportedly had his heart broken by Cassie, so hopefully our lovely Adrienne can really stitch and mend that corazon of his.

The Radio Music City Hall in New York City was abuzz last night as many celebrities came out for the MTV 2009 VMAs. Of course a bunch of Latino celebrities were there, and since we only have eyes for them around here, here is a round-up.

Look, it’s Adrienne Bailon. Wow, our little angel is quite a passion in yellow.

She’s button cute.

Alessandra Ambrosio was also there. That Brazilian babe sure looked good.

I change my mind. I don’t like that legend of a cowgirl look.

Dominican papi chulo Tristan Wilds came up on the red carpet, looking all debonair. His agent had better work it. I’m sure he can get some plumpy roles other than his “90210″ gig.

Cuban metiche Perez Hilton better known as Mario Lavendeira, er stood out…as usual.

Portuguese mami Nelly Furtado came on the stage. Did you see the part of the show when she was presenting the award for “Best Pop Video” (a category in which Wisin Y Yandel were nominated) and suddenly broke out in Spanish?

That was hilarious. Let them have some bilingualism in their lives, chica!

And what do we have here? None other than your favorite Latino celebrity couple.

Is it me or has Bonescito gained a little weight?

And Yessy, the queen of the night.

Shakira was probably the best dressed chica of the night. Loba was looking good.

¿Quién es esa chica? Adrienne Bailon, we hardly recognize ye! But yes indeed it is indeed the former Cheetah Girl.

All I have to say is “Whoa, chica!” This girl is really making it hard for me to hate on her. Look at that mane, the Christina Aguilera lipstick. She must really be getting Kardashian Sisters lesson on the side for sure. Our girl is much stylish. She got major estilo upgrade.

Remember when she use to dumb her look down, trying to make it all juvenile for the Disney audience; well this mature look does our little trollop much good!

Previously told you about Mz. Adrienne Bailon, the nude pic leaker, getting a record deal with Def Jam. The ex-Cheetah girl is getting things moving with her solo album.

Can she come up with a way to distinguish herself from the other mamitas chulitas like Christina Milian and Kat De Luna? We shall see!

Did anybody know that Gael García Bernal could sing? Well, guess what he certainly gives it a try on the Rudi Y Cursi soundrack with the song “Quiero Que Me Quieras:. Anybody in the mood for some gozadera? Los Amigos Invisibles are hitting the street with their newest opus, Commercial, featuring Mexican songbird Natalia Lafourcade and Los Prisoneros band member Jorge Gonzalez.

And we have a little cutie on board. A Mz. Cristal Marie, a Dominicana songstress who’s definitely making things happen musical-wise.

She’s the one wose beautiful voice you hear singing the opening song titles “Pecados Ajenos”, but from sound of things, this belleza also has other things up her sleeves. On her last album, a self-titled venture, she covered some classics, but lend her own spin to them.

Adrienne Bailon is really getting her career on, post-Cheetah girls. The Puerto Rican-Ecuadoran cutie told Latina magazine,

“Disney was great, but we always knew there was going to be an end Now that the three of us are in our 20s, it’s a great time to move on.”

If you haven’t noticed, Mz. Bailon is currently hosting “New Afternoons on MTV.” No word on when that bootleg TRL is going to be given the pink slip.

Rap-Up magazine reported that Mz. Adrienne Bailon got herself a recording contract from Def Jam as a solo act, you know that wish she’s been itching to fulfill ever since her strategic wiggling out of that Disney Cheetah Girls contract.

But what ought to be asked if this is a good career move for her.

We’ve got Kat De Luna. We’ve got my girl ChrissyMil. All cutesy pie, baby-faced Latinas that if you stick em in a crowd together, I bet even their biggest fans couldn’t tell them alike.

What Mz. Adrienne needs to do is to get her acting swag on. Really. The market is overcrowded, and other than her Kardashian ties, her nude pic scandal, her Cheetah Girls past, there’s not really much to set her apart.

Alessandra Ambrosio had a rather wonderful weekend. She clubbed to death, smooched with her man, and then it was off to the airport for work.
