Just in case you needed any signs that Aventura has arrived, look no further than their own application for the Apple Smartphone…you know the iphone. It’s called the Aventura Open Mic, and using it, you can have the reys of bachata give you some background vocals support, while you sing their songs. Nice, huh?
Meanwhile Jose Iorio, the host of Ritmoson Latinon, has his own publishing deal with EMI Music Publishing. No word on how much plata he got for this deal, but you can be it’s a lot. Jose is going to be releasing his own solo album under the terms of this deal. For someone who has such good ears for music, we can only expect him to emerge with something worthwhile.

Dulce María is very serious about carving a niche for herself in the music world. Certainly, she made a name as a member of RBD, but we all know that this chapter of her life is over.
Sources have confirmed that the album is going to be released before the end of the end of the year. Not only that, but that Dulce took it upon herself to write most of the songs on the album. Someone close to Dulce’s camp has informed us that most of the songs are lovesick ballads, as Dulce is a hopeless romantic.
While she and former bandmate Anahí were working head to head on their respective albums, somehow, Anahí’s album Mi Delirio, got released first. Some industry folks have speculated that this was done on purpose by Dulce’s camp!
Was Dulce hoping to learn from any of her former bandmate’s possible missteps, and use them to her advantage? Interesting.

We’ve always thought that Alejandro Sanz had a good heart. And now we’ve just gotten more evidence.
Ale decided to spend some time with a bunch of underprivileged youths in Mexico at the Centro Femenil de Readaptación Social de Santa Martha Acatitla to inspire and motivate them.
Let’s not forget that among Ale’s activities, is his work with the Fundación CIE, a non-profit organization.
Since a lot of people are always accusing rockeros of corrupting young people, we can’t help but applaud this gesture on Alejandro’s part.

We’ve learned exclusively that Belinda is going to be filming a video with Pitbull in Miami for the song “Egoísta”. The song will likely be one of the biggest exitos of Beli’s career. She hasn’t even filmed a music video yet, and it’s already one of the most requested tracks in places like Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Colombia, in addition to the good ole USA.
Now, about that music video… CONTINUE READING
