Only a few months ago we thought we would lose him! But now Luis Miguel is almost completely recovered and doing so much better healthwise that he’s planning his big comeback in the form of a three-night concert at the famed The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in honor of Mexican Independence Day.
Tickets will be available through Ticket Master this Saturday, July 24th. So far there are three dates: September 15th, 17th and 18th.

A host for this year’s Tejano Music Awards has been selected. It’s none other than comedian Paul Rodriguez.
Artists scheduled to appear include: Pee Wee, Raul Malo, Tierra, Girl In A Coma, Texas Tornados, Arthur Hanlon, Robert Rodriguez and Danny Trejo —among many others.
The awards is going to take place in San Antonio on July 11th.

Calle 13’s trip to Cuba earlier this year is considered such a milestone event that two filmmakers decided to compile the footage from their concert trip there into a full-pledged documentary.
Lester Sibila and Frank Fernández recently premiered the documentary in Havana.
We will let you know when this musical film is released state-side.
