Wait, did I previously say that I don’t really like above-the-knee length dresses? Monica Cruz makes me want to take it all back!

She looks terribly sexy; makes you wonder what sexy Victoria Secret outfit she’s hiding. She makes me feel like going shopping.

And, oh, the lovely Demi Lovato. Wow, how cute. Ever since she’s stopped hiding her body in those rockero outfits, I have been loving her looks!

Percy Jackson, an upcoming fantasy film, has Rosario Dawson in its cast. According to Entertainment Weekly, Rosario’s going to play Persephone, the imprisoned wife of the lord of Hades.

Hard to imagine Mz. Rosario in some suppressed woman role, kneeling to some Greek god tyrant, but movies are all about acting.

Some parents have been known to use the belt, but this is how Rosario Dawson’s mother Isabel Celeste handled bizness when Rosie got unruly:

My mom licked me — that was her punishment. If I was a little uppity or if I didn’t listen or if she wanted to get my attention, she’d lick the side of my face or under my armpit.

My mom’s a six-foot-tall amazon and she’d say, ‘‘You came out of my vagina and I own every part of you,’’ and she’d lick me like I was her wee pup and she was a lioness. It was humiliating and really intense. Very primal. It’s not spanking, but it definitely works.

Well, I wonder what this castigation should fall under?

Rosario Dawson sees good in all the film directors she’s worked with: Spike Lee, Quentin Tarantino, you name ‘em:

I just love seeing myself through their eyes, being directed by them, because there is a particular way they see the world. It’s really fascinating not to just go through the process of trying to put myself into a character’s shoes, but also trying to glean what perspective of storytelling these different directors are coming up with.

She added:

“I like a strong director: I like being directed. I like someone taking me out of my comfort zone and pushing me beyond even what I see as my limits. Basically, it’s working with people who are smarter than me and very talented.”

And you just know she’s a mujer sincera. And not brown nosing ’cause she could use a job.
