William Levy and his girl broke up, so naturally people are speculating that it has something to do with Maite Perroni, his telenovela co-star. Maite has pretty much said nothing except to give her support to the couple, saying:
“Claro que se les apoya, yo no digo que no, pero yo no tengo que opinar al respecto.”
Thanks Maite. That really helps us clear out things, and lends new perspective on the whole thing.
Oh, and then no sooner was the announcement made that it was reported that William and Elizabeth were indeed back together. But not for long, my premonition says. Please don’t tell me this is going to be another one of those volatile relationships, where the couple is together one day, and separated the next.

Thalia told us her secrets to a good marriage, but while doing this, she felt the need to defend Diego Luna and Camila Sodi’s marriage, after rumors ran rampant that Diego was creeping with some other woman.
“Ella está feliz y enamoradísima. Él está feliz y enamoradísimo, es lo único que yo sé.”

Thalia is clearly digging her well before she’s thirsty. She’s got the alimony on lock in case she and Tommy Mottola ever part ways, now she wants to assure that she’s going to have her prima’s unconditional support when it’s her turn to cry on some family member’s shoulders. Good job, Thalia.

Yuri is still elated over adopting a 7-year old girl name Camila. The singer went on the show Ventaneando to let everyone know how happy she is to be a mother at 45. Good for Yuri!

And Mariah Carey released her new single “Obsessed”, which everyone basically interpreted as a shot to Eminem and the past disrespect that he’s shown our beautiful Venezuelan diva via his songs. Hmmm.

Not too long ago Flex talked about the joys of marriage, but some Latino male artists don’t seem too good with keeping their vows. Tito El Bambino was caught cheating on his mujer, and soon thereafter made the announcement that he and Jessica Santiago (that’s his girl) were calling it quits, telling People en Espanol in a statement,
“Estoy agradecido del apoyo que me han brindado siempre en mi carrera, pero, de la misma manera les solicito que en estos momentos difíciles que vivimos mi esposa y yo, nos permitan resolverlos de la manera más privada posible.”
If you’re so “agradecido” hombre, why you let her go without a fight? Or did you already move on? Some of these men, they have these women standing by them like a shadow before they become famous, and as soon as they become a little famous, and next thing you know it’s “irreconcible differences”. Goodness.

La La Vazquez, the one-half of your favorite Boricua couple decided she was going to spice things up in her relationship with Carmelo Anthony by chopping some of her mane. She let the world know about her new and bold haircut via Twitter.
A rather inspired change, we dare say. It’s even cute.

Our beloved Padre Alberto Cutié wedded his beloved Ruhama Canellis in Coral Gables earlier this week. We can’t wait for the other ceremony where we’ll see the Padrecito in a groom’s suit.
Meanwhile though Miami Times reported that an ex-boyfriend of Canellis (who was illegal in the United States) says that he was put out of the way because he had sordid information about Padre Alberto and Ruhama, long before everything came out.
Goodness, can Telemundo throw some writers in a room already and turn this into a telenovela already?

Oh, and another Corazón salvaje remake is on the horizon. I was only aware of the one starring Edith Gonzalez, but turns out there’s like two other versions before that one.
Anyways, the famous role of Juan del Diablo, made famous by Eduardo Palomo is going to be taken over by none other than brawny telenovela hearthrob Eduardo Yáñez. Not everyone thinks the beefy actor should have gotten the role. Take for instance, the thoughts of Latin American TV fan easifuentes, one of Hissip.com’s followers on Twitter:
“In my opinion he’s not a good actor, plus the producer of Fuego en La Sangre is the same one [as the one who helmed Corazón salvaje]. Her ruined [the Pasión de Gavilanes remake] big time.”
Yep. Doesn’t Televisa and Univision think they should do some market research first before they do their castings?
